Out of curiosity, I decided to see if I could find any independent reviews about my book "A Pagan Pregnancy". I found this one today and thought I would share it with you.
It is in another language, but I was able to use Google to translate it.
I always appreciate reviews such as this. As a first time author, I know I do not possess the knowledge to writing the perfect book. Her thoughts and critiques are honest and expose what areas I could improve upon. So I thought I would share it with you.

ConVocation 2013
Howdy All!
This is just a short reminder that if you plan on teaching at ConVocation 2013, you better get those applications into the MEC quickly. The deadline to submit workshops is almost upon us.
I have already received a few emails if I were going to present again on my Mooncycle Magic series and I have decided to NOT submit any workshops for 2013.
Why?
You see, one of my favorite authors will be presenting next year for the very first time at ConVocation! With my past lucks of wanting to go to Guest Presenter classes (such as Dorothy Morrison, Selena Fox, and a few others) I simply do not want to miss any of her classes if I am able to have the opportunity to go to them. In the past I was alwasys scheduled the same time as most of the classes I wanted to attend. So I took myself out of the equation. It will also give me more time to go see my favorite candle maker, owner of Coventry Creations, Detroit's own Hoo-Doo lady, Jacki Smith's classes as well! I learn something new every year from Jacki! If you haven't read Coventry Magic yet, you really should think about buying it! It's one of my favorite books on the market!
It will be lots of fun going and not worrying about the stress that comes with presenting! I always "freak" out the night before my workshops and sleep very little wondering if anyone would show up. Of course when that happened a few times they had to bring in more chairs to accomodate the amount of people that did show up!
The next few years I am going to be focusing on my health and my writing. I am currently working on a few separate projects. It's just focusing on one at a time to complete it is where I am having problems. I just want to work on them all at once. Hahaha Who knows maybe for 2014 I will have a new workshop or two to present for consideration in the following years.
So I am looking forward to just relaxing, attending classes, and hanging out with my magical family this coming year. It's going to be a ball. After last year, I do know now that I need to bring in my own food. I got pretty sick last year so no playing around this coming year. Or I will need to research the restaurants in the area better to plan my meals. When I made my reservation last year I did request the same room, it was an awesome room!

Walking the path of the Labyrinth
I have had the opportunity to walk the labyrinth a few times in my life. They have been at:
Convocation which is a conference held every February in Detroit, MI
One year they created a night time labyrinth with glow in the dark sticks. It was simply beautiful walking in the pale glow.
Pagan Spirit Gathering
The people of Circle Sanctuary out do themselves each and every year. I had a profound experience occur in my life whenever I walked their labyrinth (a positive one of course).
I am also blessed to have access to three close to my home.
The Garden of Healing and Renewal, McLaren Hospital
Indian Springs Metropark has a small painted labyrinth in the Toddler play area.
Ravenswood's Covenstead, my covenmate Katherine creates a wonderful labryinth each and every year on her property.
One of my favorite books I have read about incorporating the Labryinth into one's spiritual practice is
Walking a Sacred Path: Rediscovering the Labryinth as a Spiritual Practice by Lauren Artress. This book has provided me with with great tools to incorporate into my daily practice. Recently, I found another book that goes with it called The Sacred Path Companion A Guide to Walking the Labryinth to Heal and Transform also by Ms. Artress. Both are very good books and I do recommend them.
Walking the labryinth is very special to me. Each time I have done it something unique has happened to me. Each experience though one would think would be the same (you are walking in a similar pattern each time) is completely different than the other. I have reached clarity for problems I was looking for answers to, calming stressful mind, deciding upon a new venture in my life, plus many other things that have come from my walking labyrinths. I am glad they are apart of my life.

Checking In / Surgery
Hi Everyone,
Just a short note to let you know that my presence will be a bit lacking for the next few weeks most likely.
I am having surgery on May 5th and may not feel up to sitting at the computer during my recovery. But then, it may be one of the few things I might look forward to as I can do it from the bed as well.
Any thoughts, candles, and or energy sent for a speedy recovery would be GREATLY appreciated!
Research for the my second book is in the works should the first book/manuscript be published by one of the big publishing houses (which would be a total dream come true for me).
Just been having lots of things going on these next few weeks. The family's annual neighborhood garage sale this week, then preparing the house the best I can prior to my surgery so my husband or sister won't need to go out to the store and purchase anything while I am down for the count.
I am so blessed to have the sister I have, she is flying all the way from Louisiana to come help take care of me during my recovery and help me out with taking care of my children as well!
